How I Miss You
In Summertime, I miss the big, beautiful beach umbrella you stole from me In the Fall, I miss the Sonny and Cher costumes you never returned In Wintertime, I miss my skis, probably still buried in your car trunk beneath my sheepskin lined gloves and the blanket my grandmother crocheted for me the year I left home In Spring, I miss the flowers you never brought me and the trips we never took I miss everything we did and did not do throughout the year Except for you.
