      Turned from Blue to Purple

Today isn't any day. It's the only day

Water on the lake crimped   moving unaware

Yesterday's double rainbow   today cloudy

How old am I   will I be back here  or never

I live in the now   ask it to pause   to go on

Yes   to watch amber-black bees inhale

From zinnia to morning glory

This is where I belong   deep lake

White ripples &  mud-bottom weeds

One son just asked   OMG   where I want

To be "put"  Instead of complaining or weeping

I want to punch him   Instead I  tell him

Just to throw me in the lake   my place

My ceremony   my serenity   I'm still a water

Child grown from a water baby

I belong   in it/on it  to swim or kayak

Above where fish swim & sand's yellow

I will dive   find the old log turned to stone

Rise as loons call me   fish leap into the air

My body is soft  relaxed   holding my breath

Take me   bless me in the lake

Water-woman sliding   slipping   soothed

Take me   hold me   love me

That's it   that's all   what more can I ask
